Why This Measure Matters
Measuring and ensuring that EOC command and general staff are appropriately trained is vital for the effectiveness, safety, and efficiency of emergency response efforts. It contributes to a more organized, coordinated, and capable response, ultimately leading to better outcomes for the community and the county. Appropriately trained staff will also assist with CEPA capability scores.
What’s the Story?
Ensuring that all necessary county staff are well-trained in preparedness in order to function and play their key roles in responding to disasters is essential. The county is working diligently to update our records and get more staff trained.
