On Target 4.3.c. Adult Physical Activity

What This Graph Tells Us

This graph shows us the percentage of adults who reported doing no physical activity or exercise during the past 30 days other than their regular job. Data is sourced from the Washington State Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to conduct the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). The BRFSS is a yearly survey that measures changes in the health of people in our state.

Data for this measure is collected annually. The next data point is expected in summer 2026, when new survey results will be available and the measure will be updated.

On Target (Green) indicates the actual value is at or below the established target, meaning the measure is meeting or exceeding the goal. Caution (Yellow) indicates the actual value is within 10 percent of the target. Below Plan (Red) indicates the actual value is more than 10 percent above the target, meaning the measure is performing below expectations.
